Brian Maynard, PhD

Dr. Maynard began his career in pre-clinical drug development, working on pharmacological methods of treating substance abuse. His educational career includes work in psychiatry and neurology, in both human and animal models of diseases. He has worked in clinical drug trials for over 15 years in both academic and industry settings and has served as a sub-investigator on over 100 industry sponsored studies. He began North Texas Clinical Trials in 2012 with the goal of bringing access to clinical trial opportunities to Tarrant County and beyond and provide timely and accurate to drug developers. He serves as Site Director and Principal Investigator. He resides in Dallas with his wife and two children.
